French Manicures And Soda Cravings

Hello dolls! I'm writing this blog to tell you about my newest obsession: French manicures. They so pretty:) I feel like they look classy, girls, cute, and fun all at the same time. An added bonus, they chip so much less than a solid color. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when tors and fingers have a matching French manicure/pedicure. I just wish I could paint French-like as well as the girls in the salon, but, oh well. You can only ask for so much in life, right? I also wanted to tell you that I am going on a soda free month, which for me a day without soda is like a year without water. But, I will accomplish the task. After reading so much about just how terrible soda is for you, I felt like a walking Heath catastrophe. So, that all I have to share with you today, but you can always contact me through a comment or email. Goodbye, and good wishes. ~Jayleu

Hair Coloring Advice!

Hello lovelies! How are you doing today? Well, I decided to write about something that I myself used to spend hours google-ing: At home hair coloring tips. Now, I dye my hair frequently enough that Im able to develop my own rules of the road to at home hair coloring. 1. Dye your hair only 4 shades max. different then your current hair color. If you dye more then that, you could end up with a dampened or distorted hair color. 2. Chose a color that you not tire of fast. I've broken this rule so many times, and always end up with dry, life-less hair for a few months. 3. Do not go in chlorine within 48 hours of dying your hair. The dye is still settling for around 2 days, and the chlorine could disturb the process. 4. Apply a 1-inch wide layer of petroleum jelly around your face and neck so you don't get dye on your skin. 5. Semi-Permanent colors are great if your not sure you are going to love your color. If you do end up loving it, then you can always re-dye your hair. I hope these tips help you out! Have a lovely week. ~Jayley

Lipgloss, Lipbalm, Lipstick, Or Lipbutter?

So, I Have Had ALOT Of E-Mails Asking What Are The Differences Between All Of These Lip Products, So, I Decided To Make A List Explaining All Of The Many Different Lip Products. I Hope This Clears Up Much Of Your Confusion ~Jayley

LIPGLOSS: Lipgloss Is Generally A Light, Translucent Tinted Color That Provide Shine, And Luster To Your Lips.

LIPBALM: Lipbalm Normally Has Not Much Color, But Is Mainly Popular For Moisturizing.

LIPSTICK: Lipstick Usually Provides A More Rich, Matte Color. Lipstick Is Frequently Worn Under Lipgloss.

LIPBUTTER: Lipbutter Is Considered A Moisturizing Product, But Is Also A Lighter Consistency, And Frequently Has A More Colored Appearance.

So, as you may have heard on the news, fires have been appearing because heat from inside of earth is coming to earths surface, due to the lack of rain. Scary right? I honestly still have no belief in the end of the world whatsoever. "oh! but the Mayan predicted it!" Well, the Spanish killed off all the Mayans before they got to finish theyre darned calander. What Is Color Blocking? Color Blocking Is...

Hello dolls! I'm hearing more and more and more about how big of a trend color blocking is for this spring, and you have no idea how many emails I get with people asking me what exactly color blocking is. When I first heard the term, I had no idea either, but sure enough, I know now. Basicly, color blocking is when you pair two colors that compliment each other. Complimentary colors are colors opposite each other on the color wheel, like red and green, blue and orange, And yellow and purple. So, what do you think? Are you bave enough to try the trend, or just going to stick with the basics? Let me know ~Jayley

The Great Batingsuit Debate

Hello beautifuls! I don't know about you, but I'm pumped for the upcoming of warm weather. Sunscreen, beaches, tank tops, shorts, and of course, bathing suits are some of my favorite things, and they all come with summer. But each year, I have one problem. Should I get a bikini, tankini, monokini or one piece ? I normally end up with all of them-.-. Bikinis are so easy to find, tankkinis cover the right places, monokinis are adorable, and one pieces are easy! I love them all. What about you? What is your favorite bathing suit cut? Tell me!

I'm Back And Sunburn Advice!

Hey Guys! Im finally back! As you probably heard, and was very sick, but I'm feeling great now:) Sorry I Haven't posted in such a long time :/ Anyways, Today I'm Going to talk sunburns. Guess What? just Because You Have Dark Skin Because Of Your Race Does Not Mean You Can't Sunburn! Trust me, you can. But also, you might not be super dark skinned , and not burn. Sunburns are caused when the melanin in your body (That's the tan stuff) Doesn't Come To Your Skin and Protect You, And If your body doesn't get tan, your skin cells with start to fry. Ouch! Yes, sunscreen helps a bunch, but the sun can still get to you. But never fear, sunburn remedies are here:)
Okay, so the first two are some of the oldest tricks in the book. The first is the lay cold, wet towels over your burned skin. If you touch your sunburn, you will be able to feel it literally giving of heat. The cold water in the towels will absorb the heat, and start to heal the burn. The second is to smear some aloe Vera gel on it. I don't know why, but you'll get some serious relief fast, but not for long periods of time. Last, use a put a mix of half vinegar half water in a spray bottle and spritz the burn. Leave the solution on over night for a longer lasting relief in the morning. Okay so let's recap what the step you should take are:

1. Heal - Wet Towels

2. Quick and short relief: Aloe

3. Longer processe longer relief: Vinegar spray solution

Hope this helps you prepare for the summer! Bye;)

High-End VS. Drugstore Makeup

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted at all the last two days:( Anyways, I was think to myself, there are some drugstore products I like more than the high-end version. Sure, it goes the other way around too, but I just wanted to tell you guys my opinions on which I buy, so you don't have to waste money on an expensive product when you could get it way cheaper.

BRUSHES:

High-End. While doing make-up, the brush is your strongest tool, and MAC Has the best quality brushes I have ever used. I suggest saving up for these, because they are definitely worth the price.

EYESHADOW:

Mixed. A lot of drugstore brands are great, but High-end will almost always have great oigmenting. However, you can get drugstore eyeshadows that are just as good, but they are not as easy to find.

MASCARA:

Drugstore. I think l'Oreal Telescopic works just as good, if not better than MAC. I've also hear great things about other drugstore mascaras!

Sorry I only have three types of makeup for you, but if this post gets good responses, I'll do more!

I'm addicted and I just can't get enough

I have a confession to make. I'm addicted to YouTube. In the past couple of days I've watched HOURS of beauty gurus. I think I'm literally spending a quarter of the time I'm awake watching YouTube. I can't even handle myself. Mainly, I'm watching dulcecandy87, and jlovesmac1. And allthatglitters21. And juicystar. I know I'm crazy. I keep on sitting down to do my makeup and end up pretending I'm doing a tutorial. But I have another problem. I need more gurus to watch. Any suggestions? Comment And Follow! ~Jayley

Organization Tips For School!

Hello beauties! Today, I'm posting some organization tips for school. I'm alittle obsessed with organizing my life, but I think that organization is very important to succeed. Most people reading my blog probably care more about beauty, but you won't be able to buy beauty products if you don't have money. Money comes from jobs. Good jobs come from good colleges. Acceptance into good colleges come from good grades. Good grades come from organization! Okay, so do you get my point? I think so. So, here's the tips:

1. AGENDAS! They rock. I love agendas. You can decorate them all cute like:) You can out homework in one color pen, social engagements in another pen colors, and test dates in another color, and so on! You can get agendas that are so cute. I personally love to put sticky notes all over them c:

2: COLOR COORDINATION. You need to cordintate girl. Color is the key. Plus, colorful pens make everything look cute.

3. Lockershelves: You know those girls whose backpacks hang perfectly over there books without touching them, and there book and binders always line up perfectly with no effort at all? I am not one of those girls. You can use a plastic crate to line up your textbooks in, then put your binders on top of it.

4. TO-DO LISTS: I love making to-do lists. Make a sort of schedule for you life. Tip: Use the same colors as in you agenda for homework and such.

Well, that's all I have for you right now. Check back, comment, follow, and tell you friends. I'll love you for it. Aidios!

What to bring in your school beauty bag

Hey guys! I got a request (you know how I love my requests!) to do a school beauty bag post. So, I'm going to separate this in to two categories, what you would remember to bring, and what you might forget. Also, some are not beauty products, but should be kept in whatever small purse you keep you beauty stuff in! I suggest bringing products that have brushes built in, or that fit in the container, for space and hygienic reasons.

What you would remember:

-Concelar Stick
-Lip Gloss/Lip Stick
-Mascara
-Eye Liner
-Eye Shadow
-Blush
-Compact Mirror

What you might not:

-Small Perfume
-A Small Amount of Money (Just in Case!)
-Feminine Products
-Mints/Gum
-Bobby Pins

Well, that's all I can think of. Please subscribe, and comment if I forgot something! Bye for now ~Jayley

NEWS!

Hello beauties! How are you? So, I have decided, that I am going to start doing more than just reviews! I'm going to start to do tutorials, and just some regular blogging! I love reviewing things, but I need more to talk about! Plus, I love blogs that have tutorials, reviews, and personal posting, so why shouldn't I? I think I am also going to post hauls! Oh yeah, one more MAJOR Thing. My cousin is going to start posting with me! Yay! Me and my cousin are more like best friends then anything, and we're super alike, so you probably won't even notice a difference in the way we write! Eventually, when I go to collage, she will take overthe blog for me. I hope you enjoy the new, improved blog!

Bath and Body Works: Cooling Mist

Well, what's this? Heaven? I think so. I tried Cooling Mist From Bath And Body Works, AND I LOVE IT. I might just have to carry this around with me in the Summer. It really does feel like your spraying and mist form of not super freezing ice on yourself. I really recommend this to like everyone that lives in warm weather, or even just warm summers. Goodbye beautifuls!

NARS Strawberry Feilds Lipgloss

I'm recently obsessed with this color. Like seriously, I'm in love. The deep pink is so rich with pimenting, I suggest this to anyone, and everyone. It has such a thick creamy texture, so it feels sort of like lipstick on a brush. It's not super sticky, and you can wear it for like 4 hours without that dry shrinking lipgloss feel. I love the color, the feel, and it's non-tacky gloss. I hope you all try it, because it will look good on any type of skin, with any color hair and eyes. Anyways, bye-bye for now!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish

Okay, so this is more of a post of just the quality of sinful colors polish in general, not a specific color or anything like that. So, I have the biggest emotional mix on this polish. I love all of the colors, they look great on, and the glitter polishes have such sparkling qualities, but they chip after like five minutes! Nail polish never lasts on me though, so it might work for you. I will be giving mine to my cousin, and sister, because I don't want chipped nails. Bye!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro : Gel-Manicure Like Polish

Hello! I'm in a super review mood, so I'm going to me posting quite a bit today! So I picked this up as a no brainer to try to replace a $40 Gel Manicure with a three dollar polish. I was really pessimistic that it would work, but I love it! The super wide brush lets the paint go and very smoothly, and I love how creamy it is. It might not last 10 days, but mine lasted 7. 7 days is amazing considering my nails usually chip the same day I get my nails done. I really suggest this to anyone!

Almay Intense I-Color Mascara

Hello! How are you? I'm going to be reviewing Almay Intense I-Color Mascara. O, over all, it's a really good mascara for 7.99. You can ignore the idea that it will give a good hint of color, and just buy the black. I love that you can wear it a really long time, and it won't ever flake off and dry. I think I'm going to stick to my mascara, but this is really great for beginners, people that don't LOVE their current mascara, and people on a budget. Anyways, please comment! Bye:)

How would you like ...?

Hello! I am sorry I am not reviewing right now, but I was hoping for an opinion. I was wondering if 1, you guys would enjoy tutorials, and 2, if you would like some videos instead of just regular text blogs. I hope to hear all of your opinions soon.
I would also like to tell you that I am trying to sponsor a giveaway on another blog, and I will direct you to it when it is set up. I am trying to giveaway a badger brand set. In the set would be a chapstick, and a bar of soap. All badger products are 100% natural and organic, and I love them, so I think you would too! Both products would be ordered off of my favorite place to buy beauty products, bloom.com. I am in no way associated with, or sponsored by bloom currently, or in the past. Have a lovely day -Jayley

Why, Hello There:) So As You May Know, This Is Day Three Of My Bloom.com Product Review Series! Yay! You Can Learn More About Bloom In A Previous Blog. But Anyways, I Am Going To Be Reviewing Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer. So, I Am Definitely An Oily Kind Of Girl. But I Still Need A Moisturizer. If That Makes Any Sense? I Have Bipolar Skin. So I Originally Stared Wanting An Oil Free Moisturizer A While Back, So I Just Typed It In, And There It Was. I Personally Think That A Beauty Product Search Is A Little Amazing. Don't You? Well, Long Story Short It's Okay. It Works Fine, But Feels A Lot Like A Moisturizer With Oil In It. What Ridiculousness. So Yes, It Works, But No Better Than A Five Dollar Drugstore Version With Buckets Of Oil In It. Sorry To Be Hateful:(
Okay - Off Subject. My Little Cousin (She Six Years Old And ADORABLE!) Was Playing This Game On The Computer While I Was Watching Her. She Asked Me Too Help Her With One Level, And I Was Immediately Addicted To A Game Designed For Small Children. I Know. I Have No Life. It's Called "Frizzle Fraz". I'm Cool, Right? So I'm Going To Try To Put It At The Bottom Of This Post, But Im Not Great With The HTML Codes  Have To Use, So Don't Get Mad If You Just See A Bunch Of Letters. Bye Beauties!

Blow Pro Ready Set Blow Blowdry Lotion

Hey Guys! What's Up? This Is The Second Day Of My Bloom.com Reviews! Yay! So, Just In Case You Weren't Aware, IM ADDICTED TO BLOOM. No Big Deal:)
So, I'm Reviewing Blow Pro Blowdry Lotion. I Saw This And I Thought It Was THE COOLEST THING EVER. It's Not. It Was Supposed To Be A Lotion FOr You Hair That Makes It Blowdry Faster. It Does Not Make Blowdrying Any Faster Whatsoever. It Also Makes Your Hair Feel Sort Of Greasy And Slimy.
Okay, So Her I Go, Being Off Subject As Always. But I Just Wanted To Know, If You Guys Have Blogs! I'm Always Looking For Something New To Look At, And I Would Love To Know What My Readers Are Interested In! Post A Comment, Or E-Mail Me. I Love To Hear From You Any Time Of The Day! Have A Great Sunday ~Jayley

Pop Beauty MagneT Primer

Hello ladies! How are you doing? I'm great! Why? Because my order from bloom.com arrived! I don't know abut you, but I'm a little obsessed with getting packages. ESPECIALLY ONES FILLED WITH MAKE UP, PRIMER, FACE WASHES, TONERS, SHINE CONTROLL, AND HAIR PRODUCTS. So, as you may have assumed, I over spent a little. Oh well. So, I am trying to be logical and review one product a day. It should last me over a month. I know. It's pathetic really. But, anyways, here's the review!
I used to be anti-primer. Everyone would say primer is so important, but I just ignored them. I thought it was just supposed to make you make up not rub off. THAT'S WHAT HAIRSPRAY IS FOR. Haha:). I decided, why not? So I bought one off of bloom, from the brand pop beauty, which I have always loved! I really do see a difference applying makeup though. It goes on a lot smother, and evener.
Dying to try bloom? Click the link in my last blog, chicka!

Hey Guys! I'm Off Vacation, But At Least I Can Get Back To Posting! So, I Saw A TV Commercial For Baby Lips. It Says It's A Lip Balm, But I Think It's More Of A Lip Stick. I Got The Color Pink Punch (#025) And I Love It! Most Moisturizing Lip Products Don't Have Much Color, But This Has The Perfect Amount! It Does Make Your Lips Soft, And It Looks Great On. I Suggest This Product Especially Now, Because I Know The Dry Winter Weather Affects Most People. Comment, And Check Back!
